Waterproofing Liquid Membrane

BITUTHENE® 3000 are self-adhesive, rubberized asphalt/polyethylene waterproofing membranes for elevated plaza and parking decks and below grade basements, tunnels, and other subterranean applications. GCP Applied Technologies’ (“GCP”) BITUTHENE® 3000 combine a robust, flexible, pre-formed high performance, cross laminated, HDPE carrier film with a tacky, self-adhesive rubberized asphalt compound specifically designed to adhere to cured concrete surfaces.

Uses
Brushbond RFX is an high performance elastomeric cementitious coating used for waterproofing and to protect atmospherically exposed reinforced concrete structures from attack by acid gases, chloride ions, oxygen & water. Brushbond RFX is suitable for all types of structures including those in coastal environments.

The product can be used on concrete, brick and blockwork substrates and is equally suitable for new and existing structures.

The product is designed to reface and even out variations in concrete and masonry surfaces and bridge shrinkage cracks. It provides a seamless, fl exible waterproof coating suitable for water tanks, reservoirs, drainage culverts basements, roofs, toilets & wet areas. The product provides a tough durable water resistant coating which can withstand light pedestrian traffi c and also has excellent weather resistance for exterior applications.

High performance two-component polyurethane adhesives for ceramic tiles and stone material.

Applications:
Keralastic is an improved reaction resin adhesive (R2). Interior and exterior floor and wall bonding of ceramic tiles, natural stone and agglomerates, mosaic on all types of substrates normally used in building. Particularly suitable for metal, wood, fibre-cement, rubber, PVC and linoleum surfaces. Absolutely necessary for bonding natural stone and agglomerates (all types of marbles, Verde Alpi, slate,…) also subject to movement and size variation due to the absorption of water (class C of dimentional stability according to Mapei standards). Applied in a continuous layer, they create a perfect waterproof surface on which ceramic tiles can be applied with the same product. Suitable for surfaces subject to accidental contact with water (for example wooden kitchen work surfaces).
Keralastic T (R2T) is the thixotropic version of Keralastic and is particularly suitable for vertical applications.

Keralastic Keralastic T are CE marked as declared in ITT certificates nº 25040320/Gi (TUM) and nº 25040471/Gi (TUM) respectively, issued by the Technische Universität München laboratory (Germany).

Two-component, high flexibility cementitious mortar, for waterproofing concrete surfaces, balconies, terraces, basins, and swimming pools. Can be applied by brush or with a roller.

APPLICATIONS:

• Mapelastic Smart is used to form highly flexible, waterproof, and protective dressings on concrete structures, even those subject to cracking.
• It may be applied on cementitious screeds, existing floors (clean and well bonded to the substrate) and renders to waterproof bathrooms, showers, balconies, terraces, and swimming pools before laying ceramic and natural stone.
• The mortar is applied by brush or with a roller on surfaces that must be perfectly clean and sound.
• Apply thickness of at least 2 mm and embed the Fibreglass Mesh or Mapetex Sel.
• Avoid the Mapelastic Smart membrane come into contact with water for 24 hours after laying.
• Wait at least 5 days before laying ceramic tiles.

A high performance, low odour, one-part, fast-curing, high solids, pure polyurethane elastomer waterproof membrane. It is specially formulated for easy roller application of all permanently flexible, tough, high build, long-life waterproof barriers.

Silcor® 560 is a pure polyurethane elastomer. It does not contain bitumen or tar and will not bleed or stain. It is engineered to allow high build application without multi-layering and/or reinforcing mat. Design a Total Waterproofing Envelope package with waterproofing systems from GCP Applied Technologies.

• It can be applied to most stable surfaces — block, brick, concrete, render, timber, CFC, GRC, ALC, etc.
